I hadn´t spoken to him in decades. We worked together at Vans. I have been trying to locate him as well as his sister Karen. So sorry to see this. My condolences to his family.

Brian and I had many problems but lack of love was not one of them. I am saddened and shocked to hear about his passing. I cannot imagine this world without him in it. I pray for Victoria and Tanner and also his mother and father.I know how close Brian was with his mother and my heart goes out to all of you. Although I have not seen or spoken to Brian since Sept 2008, he was in my thoughts and prayers.

It has been a long time but good times are never forgotten. I am so sorry for your loss but it is also Heavens gain. I attended Mason and Stadium with Bri and we had a great time. God bless you all and hold you tight.

Brian and I went to Mason jr. High school and Stadium High School together, but were also friends in life. We both had a strong love for snow skiing and went as much as we could afford in school. After high school, Brian and I both worked at different California ski resorts, but met at Heavenly Valley or Squaw Valley for some serious powder turns, or went surfing in Santa Cruz. I never could keep up with him, skiing or surfing. My thoughts go out to the Gagnon's, their families, and to all of us who lived life with him and laughed with him.

Brian was a funny, vibrant and articulate young man. He and I were very close and I'll never forget how he was always there for me despite his inherent flakiness. He didn't always tell me what I wanted to hear and but he always made me laugh. My circle of friends would not have been complete without him.
I recently saw his My Space and tried to write him in Utah and it was returned. Despite, or maybe because of, his indiscretions you had to love him!
My heart goes out to his family, especially his kids. Remember to cry for your loss but not for his death because he is in a better place. (He probably has God snowboarding by now!)
God Bless

For the Gagnon Family;

The internet has been connecting a lot of us from St. Pats and I did send Brian a note on his MySpace. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was the guy every girl wanted as her boyfriend and I will always remember how much fun we all had. May God give you strength as he accepts Brian to his Kingdom.

ALthough we hadn' t spoke in years, I have the fondest memories of one of my childhood boyfriends at St. Patrick School. My prayers to Tanner and Vitoria.
Sincerely,
Ronda Buchanan

Dear Gagnon Family,

I am very sorry for your loss. Brian and I attended grade school at St. Pats in Tacoma. Brian was always fun and mischevious. I am sorry to hear of his recent troubles and even sorrier to hear that he has left us so soon. My prayers and blessings are with you at this very hard time. I will always remember Brian as a bright light during my earlier days. He was a lot of fun.

Brian and I just reconnected a few months ago after years of being apart. He was so happy to be back on the track he intended to be on and we shared a few emails back and forth. To my punk rock, skateboarding friend from our wonderful days in the 80's, even though we had not seen each other in 15 years, I will miss you. Erica (Schiller) Lindsley
