I grew up with Chad Benjamin on Lake Tapps when it was "no mans land". Everyone knew everyone and we were all family. We shared our long bus rides to and from school and our weekends just hanging out at the lake or causing trouble were ever we could. (which wasn't hard because there wasn't that many of us in the neighborhood) I have lost touch with him since we all grew up and moved away and it saddens me to see this; I am his age; we grew up together. He was taken way to young. I remember him just the quiet guy on Orchard Lane, but he was a hard worker and so friendly even as a kid. My heart goes out to his beautiful family and his mother Judy and all his friends he's met on his journey in life who loved him dearly. Now he's on another journey. Chad you will be missed.

Chad was a good man and a good racer. I enjoyed racing with him. You will be missed. You were a racer and a champion!
