Craig Lee Jones

April 2, 1954 - August 6, 2025

Bainbridge Island, Washington - Craig Lee Jones, 71, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025 surrounded by his children.

Born in 1954 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Gale and Marlys Jones. He was the eldest of five siblings.

Craig grew up in Tacoma, Washington graduating with honors from Stadium High School.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Antisubmarine Warfare Operator during the Vietnam War.

The first in his family to attend college, Craig earned his Bachelor of Economics from the University of Washington and his Juris Doctor at Notre Dame, graduating summa cum laude.

Craig's home was on Bainbridge Island where he built a successful career as a real estate attorney, running his own practice for many decades and contributing to major developments in Washington State.

Craig was an avid golfer, loved socializing with friends, and enjoyed cars, travel, and the outdoors, but nothing mattered more to him than his family.

Craig is survived by his three children: Kristin Armstrong, Jason Jones, Joshua Jones; his seven grandchildren: Adelena, Katryn, Marsden, Coral, Reef, Rainier, Remy; as well as his siblings: Sheri Karanasos, Michelle Jones, Kevin Jones.

A memorial will be held at 11 a.m. on August 24th at the Washington Athletic Club.
