Dearest Family, How much he will be missed. As I read the life sketch. I pondered my life and the times we got to be together. Love we shared. Amazing big laughter, teasing, and just plain full of life. Yes , games .. How he LOVED you all. So interested in the smallest details of your lives. How he developed, his beautiful heart . Grateful to have him in our lives and bless us for so many years . Tho it feels much to short. Cousins we will be forever . You honored this man we call Darrell well. Thank you for the on-line service. This maybe the best thing that came out of the days of covid . Keep putting one foot in front of the other . One day at a time. This will never pass, but you will adjust to the new world you live in . Glad we are believers of the promise . I can hear the giggling with their reunions ..

Darrell left us too early... He was a I "can do that!" kind of guy. However, there was the right way, the wrong way, and the Darrell way. He didn´t waste his life. Always involved in something.... His church, his work, his military life, and people! He loved children... his own and others. His innovative ideas and energy sometimes got him in trouble, but nothing that couldn´t be fixed. He treated me good. A kind word to him would be returned one hundredfold! Give him guff?..... look out! He loved God and his loved ones!
He was a good man. I will miss him
