Dave was a veteran Detective when he spent some time assigned to fire investigations. He taught me that we were "truth-seekers". One thing I know is true is that Dave was a dedicated public servant. I believe now Dave is enjoying all the truths being revealed to him.
Godspeed to him and God's peace to his loved ones.

Dave was an integral part of our Class of '62, Curtis High School. It was a privilege to know Dave and work along side him as part of our committee for CHS and planning our reunions through the years. He was always willing to volunteer his services for anything we needed, did most of the footwork for our venues and, in general, was a terrific representative for our class. Dave cared! It is such a loss for our small graduating class and I, personally, feel deeply saddened by his passing. He will be tremendously missed by our little group and am sure many, many friends and family members. God Bless

I met Dave in 1982 when he was at TPD, and I was a parole/probation officer. We worked together on some cases and became fast friends. Great memories of a truly kind man. R.I.P. May your memory be a blessing to all who knew you. Patty Tabet Ferguson

Dave was my personal accident investigator. He was always the first officer to appear when I was involved in an accident. It became a running joke. He was an extremely good police officer and an all-around great human being. I am sorry for his loss.

It was a honor to have been a friend of Dave´s. I was sorry I didn´t get to see him, however I have been at the CHI rehab hospital. I do not know when I am getting released.
