DAVID CORNETT Obituary

Dave Monroe Cornett A longtime resident of Puyallup, WA, born June 30, 1952, passed away unexpectedly June 18, 2018 in his home at the age of 65. Dave is survived by his loving companion Rebecca Roberts. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Therese Cornett, and brother Darrell. Dave was born in San Francisco, CA in 1952. He graduated from Clover Park High School in 1970. After high school he joined the USAF Reserves, where he served in Viet Nam. After he served his country he joined the Washington State Patrol and from there the Law Enforcement Division of the Washington State Liquor Control Board, where he retired. Dave loved animals and sports and was an avid Seattle Mariners fan. He never missed a game. He enjoyed spending quality time with his friends and family. A funeral service will be held on July 10, 2018 at The Lakeview Chapel in Lakewood, WA at 10:00 am, with interment following at the New Tacoma Cemetery in University Place, WA. at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Humane Society.
