David Kilner

David Alan Kilner David Alan Kilner, of Fox Island, WA., passed away on Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, at the age of 55. David was born on Dec. 18, 1951, in Fresno, CA. to Rulon and Joyce Kilner. David was raised in Fresno and graduated from Clovis High School in 1970. He loved working with wood and was a master craftsman in his field. After graduation from high school, David worked at Olsen's in Clovis, CA. In 1971, he was hired by Saint Anges Hospital in Fresno as their one and only master construction craftsman. David remained there until his retirement in March 2001. In April of 2001, he moved his family to Snoqualmie, WA and began a new career as a real estate appraiser with his brothers company, New Century Appraisal Group. David deeply loved his family and was always the first to help others when the need arose. David loved camping, boating and just being outdoors. He especially cherished his fishing trips with his son-in-law Robbie Buie. David is deeply loved and will be truly missed by his family and friends. David was preceded in death by his father, Rulon Leo Kilner and his mother, Evelyn Joyce Kilner. David leaves a loving wife, Diane Hensley Kilner; a daughter Tiffani Kilner Buie and her husband Robert (Robbie) Adam Buie; brother Michael Lee Kilner and wife Debra Ann Kilner; brother Philip Rulon Kilner and wife Joyce Kay Kilner; mother-in-law Wanda Hensley; many nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3512 Rosedale St., in Gig Harbor, WA 98335, on Wednesday, Jan 24, 2007, at 2:00 pm; followed by graveside services at Haven of Rest Memorial Park.
