Tacoma, Washington - Diego LevRoi Chance, 75, of Tacoma, Washington, passed away on September 25th, 2025.

Born on June 1, 1950, in Danville, Illinois, he was the son of the late Martha Geraldine (Bledsoe) Hall. He grew up in Danville, Illinois, joined the US Navy, and eventually moved to Tacoma, Washington.

Diego loved to learn, taking technical college courses in Danville and Tacoma. He volunteered with the City of Tacoma, including community awareness programs, art council, and gardening. He enjoyed playing dominoes, music, painting, herbalism, and spending time with family and friends.

Diego is survived by siblings Audrey Carr, Jacquiline (Bledsoe) Cooper, Edwin Hunt, Marvin Hunt, and Jerome Hunt. He was preceded in death by six siblings: Fredrick Carr, Bernadine (Carr) Huerta, Michael Carr Sr., Robert Bledsoe, Richard Carr Sr., and Wanda (Hunt) Dennis. He is also survived by family, including many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Leo Food Connection in Tacoma.
