Frances Campbell Obituary

Frances Marie "Fran" "Fanny" (Slead) Campbell, 90, of Graham, passed away peacefully at her home on August 12, 2025.

Born on January 14, 1935, in Oklahoma, Frances was the daughter of Lester and Pearl Slead. She grew up in Spanaway Washington and graduated from Clover Park High School before attending Central Washington University in Ellensburg Washington, where she met the love of her life, James "Jim" Campbell. They married in 1955 and built a life together filled with love, laughter, and adventure while raising their four children: Jim jr., Cecilia, Leslie, and Brad.

Frances will be remembered for her selflessness, spunky personality and zest for life. She loved fishing, bowling and her garden, but above all, she cherished time spent with her family and friends. Her kind and generous heart touched everyone she met and was deeply loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Jim (Karen) and Brad (Gina): nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and her sister, Irene. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim, and their daughters, Cecilia and Leslie.

A memorial service will be held on September 4th at 11 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Puyallup, with a reception to follow.
