GLENN BENA Obituary
Glenn Lee Bena Glenn Lee Bena 79 years old, a resident of Steilacoom Wa. passed away May 11, 2010. He was born Dec. 8th 1930 in Onalaska, Wa. He retired from the US Army and then worked at Russ Dunmire in Tacoma, Wa. Glenn is survived by his widow Alveda Bena , daughters Glenda Malonado, Cathy Bena and sons Jon Bena, Robert (Mickey) Bena, Jeff Bena. Glenn has eight grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Glenn was the last surviving child in his family. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Bena, his three brothers and 3 sisters. The viewing will be held at New Tacoma Cemetery, Evergreen Chapel, University Place, Wa. from 1:30 to 2:00 P.M. Monday the 17th of May 2010. We will be setting up a fund for donations to the Highline Regional Respiratory Center in Burien, Wa. in Glenn's name.

mom and family pops will be missed greatly. He may not have always been easy to talk to but he had a kind heart and was there when you needed him. Dad you will be missed, no more watching Jerry Springer and the news I keeping your chair at the table. Hope the fishing is good in Heaven. Love u.

Alveda, I am very sorry to hear the news. I know you must miss him. He was such a positive and friendly person, a great father and husband. I am grateful to have been able to meet him and visit with him.
