JEAN BLASSEY Obituary

Jean Blassey Born December 6, 1925 in Olean, NY; passed away September 30, 2015 in Lakewood, WA. She was a loving mother of five children, grandmother of eleven, and great-grandmother of five. All who knew her appreciated her sweet and friendly nature, twinkling sense of humor, and faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold G. Blassey (November 3, 1992) and her son William B. Blassey (August 10, 2010). She is survived by daughters Kathryn J. Blassey (Mike Brossart), Janet L. Gildenhar (Mark Gildenhar), and Mary L. Spencer (Richard Spencer), son John G. Blassey, grandchildren Valerie, Eustacia, Anna, Katherine, Daniel, Stephen, David, Rachel, Laura, Peter, and Sean, and great-grandchildren Nathan, Antoine, Audra, Brooklynn, and Decklan. A funeral service was held at St. Frances Cabrini Church in Lakewood on October 5, 2015.
