I loved the twinkle in his eye. He was mischievous. And that glare when he did not approve!
He was a good man, kind, intelligent and funny.
We were all fortunate to have him touch our lives.
Love and prayers for him and to his wife and children.
(Niece of Bill Goretti knew John through fishing up in Alaska during the same year.)

I was so delighted to see Coach Sinkovich last September at our WWHS 50th Reunion along with several other great teachers. I intincly had great respect for him as our sophomore BBall coach and then assistant coach to Dan Inveen on varsity the next two years. He was just a real pleasure and truly a great mentor and teacher. May he rest in peace.

I loved my Zoology/Phsiology class with John senior year (1964) as well as being coached by him in BBall. I particularly loved his feigned outrage when Stan Harwood (and moi) put a piraña in the aquarium with the trout. He came to our WWHS 50th reunion last Sept, and it was wonderful to see him.

I remember Mr. Sinkovich from my sophomore year at Stadium before going to Wilson when Wilson opened. I enjoyed his class and he seemed a very, very good teacher. I have good memories of his class.
Wishing his family and friends much comfort during this heartbreaking time. God bless!!!

Mr. Sinkovich was my favorite teacher at Wilson when I attended from 1970 to 1973. I had him for biology in 10th grade. I was an average student but he must have saw something in me since he asked me to be an assistant for his class. He was a fair teacher and I respected him. Rest in Peace, Mr. Sinkovich.

John Sinkovich was one of the best teachers that I ever had - although the two of us got off to a somewhat rocky start I ended up taking every course that he taught when the two of us were at Wilson in the early 70s. He was tough but fair and he challenged you every day. Rest in peace Mr. Sink - and know that you made a difference in a lot of lives.
