LEONARD KJELLESVIK Obituary

Leonard LeRoy Kjellesvik Was born September 14, 1943; he passed away on July 27, 2018 after a very short illness. Thanks to hospice, Len's final days were spent in his home with his daughters by his side. Len took his last breaths surrounded by love as his daughters held hands and prayed over him. Len had a great sense of humor, which was very evident to those who knew him best. This part of his personality remained true throughout his illness. Len was an opinionated, strong-willed man who loved fishing, going to the casino, and watching his Seahawks and Mariners. Len believed he wouldn't be around to see the first Seahawks game of the 2018 fall season; unfortunately, he was right. Len was preceded in death by his loving wife Vivian, his parents Edward and Helen, and his sister Jan. He is survived by three "step"-daughters (his "daughters" is how he would introduce us), Tina Bars (Gvido), Shelly Batchelder (Craig), and Rene' Hudgins (Jon), two sons, Eric and Jason Kjellesvik, grandchildren Hayden and Amanda Hudgins, brother Ron, nieces and nephews, and very special friend Renee Burger. Renee and Len were travel buddies, and Renee helped care for Len during his illness. The family would like to thank Renee for being such a special friend and companion to Len.
