PHILLIP ELLING Obituary

Phillip Wayne Elling On August 14, 2016, Tacoma lost a loyal native son way too young. Phil was born at Tacoma General Hospital on November 14, 1956 to parents Wayne and Phyllis Elling (deceased). He attended Whitman Elementary, Seward Junior High, and Lincoln High School. He was a car enthusiast and could work on any old car no matter what it was. He leaves to mourn his passing his one true love and her family: daughter Sara and her husband Dustin and three sons Alex Wayne, Lucus Tyler, and Gunner Eugene Reifschneider. He leaves a brother, Rodney Elling, and all of Rodney's family. He leaves many friends, whose lives this generous and caring soul touched deeply. He was a wonderful, caring father, grandfather, and friend. Thank you, Phil, for the many happy memories. We will cherish every one of them, along with your memory. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in New Tacoma Cemetery's Evergreen Chapel. Guestbook at www.newtacoma.com.
