I met him in college back in Kansas. We would go fishing together. He was a really good guy.

My memory of Steve goes back to the '72-'73 basketball season at RIT. We were teammates and friends. He was an outstanding basketball player and an unbelievably gifted athlete. We spent a lot of time together on and off the court. My prayers are with Steve and his family. May his memory be eternal!
