Teresa Hall Obituary
September 13, 1951 - December 27, 2024
Tacoma, Washington - Teri passed away peacefully at home in Tacoma, WA after many years of gallantly battling the effects of beryllium disease caused by an occupational exposure. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She leaves behind husband Fred, married for 42 years, daughter Sarah, son-in-law Bryce, granddaughter Louisa, brother Steve and sister-in-law Debbie Weinelt.
Teri was born in Maryland to German and Czechoslovakian descendant parents. She graduated from Mercer University in Georgia with degrees in Biology and Chemistry, and then the University of Washington with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering. She worked for many years as an engineering laboratory technician for General Electric in Tacoma, WA and in St. Petersburg, FL.
Her hobbies included gardening, sewing, reading, and crafting. She especially loved cats and always had at least one cat in her home throughout her adult life. Her proudest community accomplishments were taking leadership roles in the church as director of children's programs and director of the AWANA Sparky's club. She will be greatly missed by all of us.

Such a sweet picture of Teri, that brings back many memories. I met you three when teaching weekly Infant and Toddler classes for Bates Technical college. You were just a baby, Sarah, when I met you as a babe in arms. Teri was always actively involved with holding or playing with the the wee ones and interacting with the other new moms. Some tight groups of supportive friends were formed in those weekly hours over two years. I remember Fred attending as well. Sarah, you were very loved! There's no doubt in my mind that Teri remains ever present just over your shoulder.
