TERRY RAE BOWERMAN

Terry Rae Bowerman (Whittlemore) Went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 16th, 2018. She was born to Harry and Betty Whittemore in San Diego, CA, and grew up there and in the sun of the San Fernando Valley in California. Terry Rae spent most of her adult life raising her children in Tacoma, WA and the surrounding area. After Stephen retired, they traveled around the United States in an RV for 5 years. Terry fell in love with Hawaii, so, in 2001, she and Steve moved to Oahu, HI. She spent many days basking in the sun on Waikiki Beach, which was walking distance from their condo. Heading out on a new adventure, Terry and Steve moved to Texas 2 years ago. Terry Rae is survived by her husband, Stephen Bowerman; sons Dale Seaholm (Jennifer), Tucson, AZ, Gregg Seaholm Coronado, CA, and Kort Bowerman, Carlsbad, TX; mother Betty Bell, Las Vegas, NV; siblings Penny Rehrig (Richard), Rancho Santa Fe, CA, Janet Diaz (Luis), Las Vegas, NV, and Larry Bell (Olga), San Diego, CA; Stephen's loving children Debi Christensen (Pete), Puyallup, WA, Karen Getchel, Puyallup, WA, Laura Bowerman, Puyallup, WA, Jerry Bowerman (Teresa) Austin, TX, and Mike Bowerman (Rebecca), Tacoma, WA; 19 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on May 5, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Grace Temple Baptist Church, 105 Guthrie, San Angelo, TX. Arrangements are by Shaffer Funeral Home/ Sherwood Way.
