TIMOTHY WILSON Obituary

Timothy James Wilson Our beloved husband, son, father and friend, of Milton, WA, originally from Davenport, IA, passed away on September 10th 2009 at St. Joseph's hospital in Tacoma, WA after a long battle with cancer. Tim, the son of James and Patricia Wilson, was born in Grinnell, IA on January 23rd 1960 and graduated from Davenport Central High School in 1978. He worked for Cadillac Plastics, General Electric Plastics, and Sabic-LP Plastics. Tim married his wife Rae on December 19th 2008 in Puyallup, WA. In Tim's spare time, he enjoyed cooking for the gang, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Rae Wilson, daughters Kristin Wilson, Alix Wilson, stepdaughters Taylor Dillard, Erin Cusack, stepson Nicholas Ruge, mother and father Pat and Jim Wilson, and sister Julie Giese. The funeral will be held at Gaffney Funeral Home, located at 1002 Yakima Ave, Tacoma, WA, on Tuesday, September 15th, 2009 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.

Tim's entrance into our family proved a blessing. Though their time together was far too short, Tim was a loving companion and husband to my daughter, Rae. I appreciated his wry wit and warm heart, and am grateful that the last words we exchanged, the day before he died, were "I love you."

My thoughts and prayers are with you.Tim will be greatly missed by those people he had come in contact with. He always had that smile on his face. There are many more good memories than bad,and thats what I will remember.
