Nancy Eastman Obituary
Survivors include her mother, Norma Rice of Clinton, New Jersey; husband, Mike Eastman of North Vernon; son, Jon Eastman of North Vernon; daughter, Kate Eastman of North Vernon; and sister, Christine Rice of Clinton, New Jersey.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Marvin Sweet officiating. Interment will be in Vernon Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Arrangements were handled by Sawyer–Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.

I read about Nancy's passing in the Marywood Alumni magazine. I am so sorry for your loss. Nancy and I were roommates for about a year. She was the sweetest, nicest,person. A hard worker, always busy,with a beautiful singing voice. She had beautiful long blonde hair in which she took much pride.She came to my wedding and crocheted a gift when we welcomed our first child. I wish we hadn't lost touch.I always remember her sweet laugh.

Nancy was a year ahead of me in high school, but, I knew her a bit. She was a real nice person. From what I read in the obituary, it appears she never stopped being the nice person that she always was. Me, and, my NHRHS Class of 1975 wends their condolences to her family. May she rest in peace.
