Christopher "Tyler" Barlow

1999 - 2023

BARLOW - Christopher "Tyler" Barlow was born March 10, 1999, in St. Marys, Ga., to Chris Barlow and Kimberly Cardounel. Tyler left out of Brunswick, Ga., on Oct. 14, 2023, for a five- or six-day commercial fishing trip and did not return. Even though we don't know all of the details, we know that Tyler is with our Almighty Father in Heaven.
Tyler absolutely enjoyed life. He had a laid-back, free-spirited, adventurous soul and knew how to have a good time. Tyler was also extremely gentle, loving, kind and compassionate. Tyler had the most beautiful smile, fun personality and contagious laugh. He would do absolutely anything for anyone even when he didn't have much himself. Tyler had the biggest heart and loved so big. He was fiercely protective of his family and friends.
Tyler was loved so deeply by many. He will be dearly missed by friends but especially by his family.
His is survived by his mother, Kimberly Cardounel; father, Chris Barlow; bonus mother, Sarah Behrman; brothers, Tanner Barlow and Trent Barlow; sister, Alyssa Hicks; brother-in-law, Joshua Hicks; sisters, Madyson Behrman and Savannah Behrman; grandparents, Jim Hancock and Cindy Hancock, and Beverly Barlow; aunts and uncles, Steve and Anna McKinney, Michael McKinney, Dennis and Shannon Barlow, and Joy Smith; great-aunt and great-uncle, Sandra and Duane Devore; and many other friends and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Curtis Eugene Barlow and Lewis Stephen Jones; grandmother, Vicki Hancock; and uncle, Barry Barlow.
A day to honor, love and remember Tyler will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, at Christ's Church Camden, 250 Lake Pointe Drive in Kingsland, Ga. Our hope is to represent Tyler. Casual attire is encouraged.
