Alan M. Posey, age 82, a longtime resident of Edmonds, passed away June 1, 2004, after suffering a stroke.
Alan was born in Pasco, WA on November 2, 1921.
He was a WWII Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.
Alan and Maude were married in 1950. They resided in the Pasco area until moving to Edmonds in 1963.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maude; children, Ellwyn 'Duke' (Connie) Snider of West Seattle, Keith (Julia) Snider of Edmonds, Bob (Joanne) Posey of Bothell, Susan (Don) Gibbons of Oceanside, CA; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 9, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Beck's Funeral Home, 405 5th Ave. S, Edmonds, 425-771-1234; with a reception following at the home of Maude Posey.
Interment will be on Thursday, June 10, at 2:00 p.m. at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Kennewick, WA.
Donations may be given to a charity of your choice.

I worked with Alan way back in the 70s at a chevron gas station in Lynnwood WA he was a Cool old guy and had a lot of stories always a nice guy
