David Parks Obituary

David Roy Parks, 62, of Maiden, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born April 7, 1963, he was the son of Joe Jones Parks and Betty Lou Parks.

He is survived by his sisters, Brenda Parks of Westland, MI, and Bette-Jo Fordham (Earl) of West Richland, WA; and his niece and nephew, Chelsea Shuttleworth (Jordan) and Jesse Fordham (Nicole).

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Betty Parks of Chelsea, MI; and his brothers, Doug Parks of Grand Rapids, MI, and Bob Parks of Chelsea, MI.

Dave was passionate about cooking and was known for his great sense of humor. He also cherished his time with his friends at the Lake Norman Farmers' Market.
