FAYE ALLISON Obituary


Hillcrest/Bruce Lee Memorial Center

Faye Leona Allison of Pasco, Washington, passed away on February 27, 2011, at her daughter's home in Spokane, Washington. She was born in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, on August 16, 1926, to Orville and Daisy Mayberry.

Getting special permission from the President, Faye began working for the government at the age of 16. Faye married Kenneth G. Allison, July 30, 1945, in Coffeeville, Kansas; they were married 65 years. They moved to Pasco, Washington, in the late 1940s where she worked for the Atomic Energy Commission until she retired in 1972. They lived in Pasco for 62 years and attended the Riverview Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing the piano, fishing and spending time with her family.

Faye is survived by her daughters Marilyn Jones and Debi (Bill) Hinkle; nine grandchildren, MaryAnn Terry, Amy Melton, Aaron and Shawn Lembcke, Josh, Michael, Ashleigh and Brandon Hinkle and Lisa Shermer; thirteen great-grandchildren, Jacob and Alyssa Terry, Kaetlenn, Makayla, Bradley and Andrew Melton, Ezekiel Lembcke, Mason Shermer, Julianne, Emma and James Hinkle, Cooper and Emerson Hinkle.

Funeral will be held March 5, 2011, 3 p.m. at Riverview Baptist Church, 4900 West Richardson in Pasco, followed by a graveside service at City View Cemetery in Pasco. Visitation will be held on March 5, 2011 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Bruce Lee Memorial Center, 2804 W. Lewis St. in Pasco.
