Gilbert Campos Obituary

Gilbert Ayala Campos
November 11, 1947 - September 4, 2023
Pasco, Washington - Gilbert Ayala Campos, age 75, passed away on Monday, September 4th from
complications brought on by Leukemia.
Gilbert was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He is survived by his daughters Amy and Ashley, son-in laws Chris and Scott, grandchildren Blayke, Hadlee, Emmett, and Connor, brothers Daniel and David, sisters Gloria, Sally, and Alice, and his long time partner Rose Deleon. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet Rocha, his parents Jesus and Margarita Campos, and his brother Rev. Jesse Campos Jr.
Though born in Texas, Gilbert spent much of his life in Washington, including the last 45 years in the Tri-Cities. A dedicated employee of the City of Richland, Gilbert worked for 30 years maintaining city buildings and parks until his retirement in 2013. He cherished his family, the Denver Broncos, and telling jokes non-stop to make others laugh. While we misshim dearly, we are grateful he is at peace.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 11 at 11:00 am at Restore City Church, 1730 West Park Street in Pasco. All family and friends are welcome to come remember him.
