Jennie Overholt-Adelmund

1975 - 2025

Jennie Louise Overholt-Adelmund, a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on October 2nd, 2025 at the age of 49. Jennie was born in Kennewick, WA on November 14th, 1975 to Allen Norman Overholt and Karen Elaine Overholt(Horntvedt). She often talked about living in Anchorage, Alaska and Aloha, Oregon as a child.

She was known for her heart that seemed to hold room for everyone. Fiercely funny and just as fiercely stubborn, she lived her life with love, laughter, and a generous spirit that touched everyone she met. Jennie had a special heart for caring for people with disabilities. She found real joy in helping others feel seen, valued, and loved.

Her greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mom to her two daughters and a proud, loving grandmother. Her happiest moments were the ones spent surrounded by the people she loved most.

She gave selflessly, always putting others before herself, always showing up when she was needed, always making sure those around her felt cared for and supported. Her warmth, her humor, and her strength will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Jennie was preceded in death by her dad Allen Overholt, sister Mary Cochlin, and beloved grandparents who welcomed her with open arms in heaven. She is survived by her Husband Mark Adelmund; Daughters Hanna Bowman(Andrew) and Taylor Adelmund(Tyler); Grandchildren Rylee Bowman, Hunter Bowman, Madison Bowman, and Stetson Boyd; Mother Karen Overholt; Step Mother Vickie Overholt; Sisters Julie Morrison(Brett), Lori Colby(Dave), and Carie Johnson(Lorren); Brothers Cory Overholt and Chance Overholt(Jennifer); Many nieces and nephews.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unforgettable memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
