KRISTI HARMAN Obituary

KRISTI LEE HARMAN Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home Kristi Lee Harman was born in Kennewick on March 10, 1962. She passed away at her home in Kennewick on June 10, 2016, leaving us much too soon. Kristi was a lifelong resident of the Tri-Cities. She attended Westgate Elementary, Highlands Middle School, and Kamiakin High School. After school, she joined the U.S. Army, while serving, an injury required her early release. She returned to Kennewick, where she renewed a friendship with David Harman. After their marriage in 1980, the couple had a son, Brandon, born in 1981, and a daughter, Andra Lee, born in 1984. Her children were the light of her life, and she was completely devoted to them. After both children were in school, she went to work as a secretary for Westinghouse and then Fluor Daniels, jobs she enjoyed. Always an animal lover, Kristi was known for rescuing dogs and finding homes for them. When an opportunity arose to own a boarding kennel, she and her husband became full time owners of Queensgate K-Nine 'N Kat Kingdom in Richland. Kristi and her daughter operated the kennel for the first few years. Later, her husband and son joined them in operating the kennel, which still continues today. Kristi was an extremely generous and giving person with a beautiful spirit. She never met a stranger, and was dearly loved by her family. She is survived by her husband, David Harman, son Brandon Harman, daughter Andra Lee Booth, (husband Michael), and her first grandchild, McKenna Lee Booth. Also surviving are her mother and stepfather, Bud and Karol Smith, and sisters, Debi Cook and Terry May, her mother-in-law Jeanie Harman, Vicki Smith, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, brother, and grandparents. In lieu of flowers, a gift could be made to the no-kill animal shelter, Benton-Franklin Humane Society. A private service for family and close friends will be held at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home. The family invites you to sign their online tribute wall at www.muellersfuneral homes.com.
