Lewis Wright Obituary
Einan's Funeral Home
In Cherished and Loving Memory of Lewis Charles Wright.
Lewis passed away on February 8, 2007 at Kadlec Hospital in Richland, Washington. He was 56 years old.
Lewis was born on February 14, 1950 in Lincoln, Nebraska, son of Lewis Charles and Lauis Jean Wright.
Lewis served his country volunteering for two tours of duty in Vietnam from 1968-1971. He was in the U.S. Army Engineering Corp. His troop was sited with commendations from Congress, and he had six Ribbons of Honor.
Lewis lived in Nebraska for a time and in California where he graduated from Riverside High School. He moved to Washington with his family about 15 years ago. He worked for Lamb-Weston in Connell as a Packaging Mechanic Specialist until his retirement from Lamb-Weston in July of 2005, at which time he worked on his photography business and his new business venture with his wife. He was so proud and happy of the work they did together making this all happen.
Lewis was Chief Steward of the IUOE representing Lamb-Weston and represented more than the 350 employees of Lamb-Weston in Connell. He was the chief contract negotiator for many years between Lamb-Weston, the IUOE and the employees.
Five and a half years ago Lewis moved to the Tri-Cities with his wife, Jacqueline. In 2003 they moved to Pasco. Lewis loved taking landscape pictures and in 1999 started a photography business, which he named 'Pardner's Photo.'
He and his wife traveled through out the Pacific Northwest taking many, many photographs. He loved to go camping and hiking, and he loved taking pictures. He was a proud, hard working man who never boasted about anything. His motto was always if you can't change a situation, do the best with it and move on. He was such a warm, kind, loving man to his wife and children, and daughter-in-law, who he loved as a daughter.
Lewis has always been a beloved, cherished husband, father and friend to those fortunate enough to have known him. He had a huge heart and a huge amount of caring and concern for those who were fortunate to have him in their lives. His life has come to an end, but his life, light and love will go on in the hearts of those who cherish him. He will be missed forever in our minds and hearts.
Lewis leaves behind his beloved wife Jacqueline, his beloved son Joseph, his son Lewis Wright, his beloved daughter-in-law Kate, and his grandson Steven Lewis Wright.
