MEGAN MCMURTREY Obituary

Our beloved Megan Cheyne McMurtrey passed away in Las Vegas on Tuesday, February 1, due to complications from a car accident. She was a kind, loving and compassionate person and will be missed by many.

She is survived by four loving brothers, David, Brian, Eric and Craig and a wonderful young son, Gavin. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn, and grandmother Marjorie.

Megan was born in Richland, Washington, on August 6, 1986. In her short 24 years, she lived a lifetime's worth, always living each day to the fullest. She lived her entire life in the Tri-Cities attending Pasco schools and enjoyed having her own place in Kennewick. On June 8, 2010, she gave birth to the love of her life, Gavin James, who was 2 months premature, but hale and hearty. Megan had many talents, but motherhood topped them all and there was no one she loved more than her little boy. A donation account is set up at Sterling Savings Bank in the name of Gavin and Megan McMurtrey, and her family is asking for donations in lieu of flowers. Her services will be held at the Lord of Life Church in Kennewick on 2/19/11 at 6:00 p.m.
