SCOTT ASKIN Obituary

Scott Clayton Askin, age 55, passed away May 19, 2012, with his loving wife Sandra at his side after a courageous battle with gastroesophageal cancer.

Scott was born March 18, 1957, to George (Stub) and Gladys Askin in Miles City, Montana. Raised in Ekalaka, MT, Scott excelled in academics and athletics. Scott's love for sports turned into a lifelong passion for golf.

For 38 years, Scott worked in the road construction industry throughout Montana, Wyoming and Washington, and was employed with Granite Northwest since moving to Richland in 2008.

Scott's joys in life included his family, friends, golf, traveling and an occasional 'visit' with Captain Morgan.

Scott's tremendous strength and courage was inspirational and will live on in those who loved and miss him. He now resides at God's '19th Hole' and is forever at peace.

Scott is survived by his loving wife Sandra, mother Gladys, brothers Jerry (Jill) and Jon (Kathy) Askin, children Dalyn, Dezi (Teal), Christina and Brittiney, grandchildren Zach, Nevaeh, Shayla, Tyana, numerous nieces and nephews and his in-laws Jan and Mark George.
