Christopher Loesch Obituary

Christopher Herbert Loesch, Jr. ,longtime resident of Arlington, VA died on August 25, 2016. Chris was born July 21, 1939 in Honesdale, PA. He graduated from Wilkes College in 1961.

He obtained an MBA from George Washington University in 1972.

He was in the Army National Guard from 1962-1968. Chris began work as a CPA for the US General Accounting Office in 1961 and worked there until he retired in 1995.

Chris was an avid stamp collector his entire life and was a member of the Springfield Stamp Club. During retirement, Chris worked in a local stamp shop for as long as his health allowed.

Chris never married and had no siblings but is survived by a close knit group of cousins. A memorial service will be held at The First Baptist Church in Honesdale, PA on September 14th at 10AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the American Philatelic Society, Inc. at www.stamps.org/Tribute-Gift.

Chris was a member of my graduating class from HHS in 1957. I looked forward to meeting him at our reunions. I believe he missed the last one. Rest in peace friend and classmate
