Dear Lynda and Casey,

I am hoping the last week has helped ease the pain of your loss. Now matter how long we prepare for the inevitable loss of our parents, it is always a shock to suddenly be without them in our lives.
Doris will always be a part of our lives and we will remember the good times. I still remember visiting your home as a teenager and "learning" to eat tomatoes that she insisted I would like!! Now we have them in our garden.
I was always glad they had the family reunion many years ago in Mount Pleasant. They really enjoyed their home.
I have always regretted that the family is spread out in several states and we don't get to see each other more often. Everyone is busy with there own lives and families, and we keep putting it off. Seems weddings and funerals are our only times to catch up.
Take care and stay in touch.

Love to both of you,
Cindy Baker

Lynda,
I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. It was a pleasure to have known both Doris and Bob. Bob worked at my hardware store (Martin Hardware) in Honesdale for quite awhile, and he was a great help to us. Your parents were wonderful people. I am sure they are greatly missed by all who knew them. They both spoke of you and Casey often and you were very special to them. I am sure you have many wonderful memories that you will cherish. Many blessings, Tyler Bennington (formerly Shelley Martin)

Lynda,

Your mom will be greatly missed, she was truly the matriarch of this family, everyone looked up to her and admired her. You didn't cross Doris! This can not be an easy time for you and Casey, hold on to your memories, they will get you throuh this difficult time. I have so many great memories of all the times spent with your family growing up, they are wonderful gifts, thank you. Your mom was so excited to be moving to Delaware, to be closer to you and Casey, she was looking forward to it, but God had other plans for her, she was so proud of you! She is at peace. You are in my thoughts and prayers!

Love, Lorin

Lynda,
Growing up together the way we did, we share some great memories of our parents & their antics. I can hear them now, singing barbershop together! Each day will get a little easier. You can rest in knowing you did your very best to care for your mom, and she is at peace. We love you, and are here for you.

We got the continual care that we had hoped for, but we came up short on the dream of much more time together. I will cherish the time we did share in Delaware. I take solice in knowing that you passed without pain and were happy. You are now with Daddy. I will miss you and I love you Mom.
