Marlene and her family were my next-door neighbors and we grew up together. She was my VERY FIRST "bestest" friend and a wonderful friend at that! She had not an OUNCE of malice in her and even though we lost touch because of distance and years, I will always remember her with love and admiration. I can't believe I didn't hear about this until 8 years since her passing. I have thought of her often and I am not just saying this. One does not forget their first best friend and certainly not a lovely and kind one, like Marlene. My heart hurts!! My
Condolences go to Marlene's family and friends and my regret for not keeping in touch regularly will be with me forever. Rest Peacefully, Dear Marlene. You will be missed!!

My deepest condolences to the family. No words can ever express the loss of a loved one. May you find comfort and peace in the love and memories you have shared together. Please lean on God for comfort during this most dificult time because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:6,7)
