RICK BROWN Obituary

RICK BROWN Rick went home to be with his savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, after 80 years of life on earth. Born to Harlow and Iris Brown, Rick grew up with his brother, Ron Brown, in Greensburg, Kansas. Rick found the love of his life, Phyllis Keller Brown, and they settled on his grandparent's (Estil and Lula Hill) ranch. They raised two wonderful children, son Kirk and daughter Natalie, on hard work, discipline and lots of love. Rick and Phyllis had 60 amazing years together in which they built a legacy for their children and grandsons, Trey Elwood and Keller Elwood. Rick enjoyed sharing stories, passing on life lessons and giving guidance to his grandsons. Rick never knew a stranger and made many friends throughout his life. He loved to visit! And he loved good conversation. Rick loved Jesus! He listened faithfully to his favorite minister and prayed in the Spirit for his family and friends. He held steadfast to "In the Name of Jesus" through his struggles and knew he was going to see Jesus. Brooks and Dunn son "Believe" spoke to Rick. He hopes it will speak to you too. Rick is survived by his wife Phyllis; son Kirk; daughter Natalie and Scott Richardson; grandsons Trey Elwood and Keller Elwood (Ana); brother Ron Brown and Linda; sister in law Pat Ellis and Gene; nieces and nephews Barry and Mary Brown, Keith Brown and Jeanine and todd Tettenborn, Paulette and Scott Robinette, Craig and Lisa Ellis; and many other extended family members. Celebration of life will be held at the Freedom Christian Church on April 3, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
