Ann Breen Obituary

RENSSELAER - Ann Rita (Clancy) Breen, of Powers Lane, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 23, 2013. She was 70.
Born in Troy on September 25, 1942, daughter of the late Patrick and Rita (Cummings) Clancy. She is the wife of William F. Breen whom she married in February 1964 at St. Joan of Arc Church, Menands.
Ann attended St. Brigid's Grade School in Menands and the Vincentian Institute in Albany. She went on to obtain a Secretarial Degree from Mildred Elley Business School. Mrs. Breen retired as a supervisor for the Rensselaer County Department of Social Services, Support Collections Unit.
In addition to her husband, survivors include their children Melinda (George) Hansen of Schaghticoke and their daughter Taylor, Susan Varone of Melrose and her children Seth and Jacqueline, Elizabeth Fitzpatrick of Melrose and her children Sydney and Morgan, Michael (Cindi) Breen of Halfmoon and their children Emerson and Ryleigh.
Relatives and friends may call from 9-10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26 at the Transfiguration Church (Formerly known as St. Bonaventure Parish), 50 Hillview Drive. Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. with Fr. George Fleming officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Lansingburgh.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Bonaventure Church, 50 Hillview Drive, Troy, NY 12182 in Ann's honor.
