Bonnie, Mark, Donna and families,
How lovely to have Bev's picture pop up and jog my memory of the special times we spent with her and Stan and all of you in Raymertown. I chuckle when I think of the many times Bev and Stan were there to answer calls for help from us city slickers.
I especially remember when Stan was called by Nana Mary to get the goats out of our pool, and what fun it was to take part in the laughter and banter while helping prepare the turkey dinners for the church suppers. We spent many wonderful times with the Tates and with the Nicolaisens too.
Thank you, sweet lady for the sweet memories.
Love,
Geri

Bonnie, Mark, Donna ,
I was so sad to hear of Bev's passing. I will always think of Bev and Stan as the best neighbors anyone could ask for. Our visits were always filled with laughter and the warmth of friendship. Bev was a lovely and talented lady. Her garden was beautiful and she was always willing to donate some of her poppy plants to my little garden. I am sorry I could not come to celebrate Bev's life with you but I was away at the time. Know that Bev and Stan will always hold a special place in my memories.

As a past member/secretary of the Crazy 8's bowling league, I would like to send condolences to Bev's family on their behalf. She was a sweet lady and fun to be with. May the good memories of her ease the pain of your loss.

Sorry to hear of the passing of ( Sis ). I can remember the times going to Maine with her and Stan and staying at Rust's cabins, I also remember going to Hedges Lake with Stan and his boat. There was one time when a resident of the lake who always had to have the fastest boat on the lake challenged Stan to a race. The resident didn't know that Stan had a racing shaft and propeller on his motor so it was slow to get moving but once it was up on top of the water it really moved. Stan beat the guy to the other end of the and the guy challenged him again to race back. Once again the guy left Stan at the beginning but Stan was ahead when they reached the other end of the lake. The guy never slowed down but went directly to his dock and put his boat away. I stopped over at the nursing home Easter Sunday just before they were ready for lunch. I brought a plant and gave it to Sis and told her who I was both by name and by nick name but she didn't remember me. I tried to talk to her about different things but she just wasn't with it. I asked her if she wanted to hold onto the plant which she did for a little while but then they started to serve
lunch so I put the plant in her room. My friend visited her as part of a group from Saint Judes Church and told me how she would take her down to the activities room and they would set and hold hands while listening to the music.
Those are just a few of the memories.
Once again I am sorry to hear of her passing.

I'm thinking fondly of the lady who would share her humor over the organ rail at church. We had some great laughs. You folks are in my thoughts and prayers. Let the rejoicing commence in heaven, Stan!

To Bonnie and and all Bev's family, she was truly a great lady and I'm glad that I had the pleasure of getting to know her. She was involved daily in all my activities and was truly a joy. Bonnie, what will I do on Wednesday Bingo's w/out you! :-) Mom will truly be missed, but she is now with her love again and you will meet up again someday.... Prayers sent to the entire family...
