Brian Hall Obituary

Brian E. Hall NASSAU - Brian E. Hall, 37, of Route 66 Nassau died suddenly Thursday, December 13, 2012, at Samaritan Hospital Troy. Born in Troy, he was the loving son of Gary Hall and Edie Evans Hall and best friend and brother of Doug. Brian had a great sense of humor, an ability to make people smile when he said ‘Hi' and was a friend to all. He taught many to have respect and acceptance of people with differing abilities. He had a great love for kids, camping, family and friends. He volunteered at the Unity House Day Care and preschool program delivering lunches. It was there that he had his special friends Pam, Liz, Tim and of course all the kids. He participated in a weekly art class at Brunswick Center where he met wonderful friends. His artwork will be forever cherished. Survivors include his aunts and uncles, Pam Hayden, Den and Judy Evans, John and Alicia Evans, Greg Hall, Dale and Phyllis Hall and Diane Hall; Grandma Kay and family, and several cousins. He also will be remembered by his extended family and friends, Deb and Jim Jewell and family, Margie and Bill Biggins and family, Dave and Denise King and family, Barb and Bobbi, The house staff of the ARC of Rensselaer County who were there for Brian no matter what the condition; Jocelyn (JR), Chasity, Miranda, Jeff, Michelle, Jake, Jeffrey, nurse Julie and a special thanks to Glen and Thomas who helped Brian and his mom in his final moments. We want to thank The Arc of Rensselaer County community who supported Brian throughout his life. Brian touched the lives of many family, friends and people in the community. Brian will be missed by all that loved and befriended him. He was a blessing in all our lives. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Ave. Troy on Sunday from 2-5 PM with a service to follow at 5PM with Rev. Trygve Tomlinson , Pastor of the West Stephentown Baptist Church , officiating. Interment will be in Blooming Grove Cemetery Defreestville.
