My Dear Friend Butch,

Peggy and I are so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was very fortunate to have lived to 93, but we know that losing your mom is never easy. I recall all our times during High School and at Siena that we'd congregate at your place on River road and your mom would put up with our antics - she was a Saint!! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of your family. I wish we could be there for her services, but unfortunately we cannot make it up. We hope that you are feeling well and be assured that I will be thinking of you on November 8th.
