Daniel Pascarella

1956 - 2016

Daniel Thomas Pascarella WYNANTSKILL - Daniel Thomas Pascarella (60), of Wynantskill, NY, passed away unexpectedly on August 23, 2016 while visiting the country of Cambodia. Born in Troy, NY on April 13, 1956, Dan attended St. Joseph’s School and graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1974. He then went on to serve our country in the United Sates Air Force in the mid-1970s. Upon his release, he attended Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) and graduated in 1982 with a degree in the Electrical field. After numerous years with Mechanical Technology Incorporated (Latham, NY), Dan was employed for next 25 years with Atlas Copco (Voorheesville, NY). His work provided him with a great sense of purpose and accomplishment. Dan was an adventurous soul who always enjoyed the excitement of exploring new countries. Traveling the world for both work and pleasure, he embraced the culture of each country that he visited making new friends along the way. Dan enjoyed multiple activities over the years such as, biking, hiking bowling, golfing, playing pool and skiing. He always performed everything to the best of his ability. Dan was a kind and generous man always willing to help family and friends in time of need. Dan is survived by his beloved daughter, Kelly Pascarella, her mother, Denise Agars Pascarella, father, Michael Pascarella, and two brothers James and Patrick Pascarella. He is predeceased by his mother, Joan Pascarella, and brother, Michael (Mickey) Pascarella. Dan is also survived by several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins. A memorial mass for Dan will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church in Troy, NY. Friends and family are invited to attend this service to say goodbye to Dan.
