A kind and caring man, a teacher of life, a great football mentor. Without "Harry Gully" there wouldn't be such a great "Pop Warner" program in the area.
I'm proud to have had 3 Sons go through the program in Lansingburgh, thanks Mr. Gully, may you rest in peace Sir!

I first met Harry when I was a very young boy and I would walk to Dichans meat market on Hill Street in South Troy to pick up "meatball mix" for my grandmother. Then in 1970 Harry's nephew Mike asked me if I would be interested in helping him coach the Troy Patriot Pop Warner Team. I said yes and for the next 14 years I had the pleasure to work with Harry, Mike and the entire Patriot organization. Harry was clearly the "straw that stirred the drink" and his leadership brought great success and the opportunity to learn about teamwork to hundreds if not thousands of young men. He was all about respect and effort and teamwork, success was never an issue, it just seemed to follow. About a year ago he called to offer his sympathy on the passing of my wife and we spoke rather briefly. To Marilyn and his family I offer my most sincere condolences and my prayers. I am currently in Florida and will not be able to attend the service. But I will be with all of the Patriot Family in spirit and in prayer. Be well,
