James Hull Obituary

James L. Hull Sr. TROY – James L. Hull Sr., 71, of Lansingburgh died peacefully on June 22, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Troy he was the son of the late John and Edwina Hall Hull and the devoted husband of Elizabeth Lamberson Hull of Lansingburgh. Mr. Hull was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School and was retired from Norampco in Scotia after 46 years of dedicated service. He was a Viet Nam War Era veteran of the US Army and was a member of the Veterans of Lansingburgh. Survivors in addition to his wife of 53 years include his loving children, Lynne Carpenter (Merritt) of Ballston Spa, James Hull Jr. (Shelley) of Troy and Charles Hull (Lori) of Lansingburgh, brothers, Loren Hull of Troy and Terry Hull of Cohoes, sisters, Lillian Stockwell of Troy and Kimberly Stevens of Tennesee, 9 grandchildren and one great grand-daughter. Mr. Hull was predeceased by his son Duane Hull. Friends are invited and may call at the Frank P. McDonald & Son Funeral Home 870 Second Avenue (124th & 125th Streets) in Lansingburgh on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 10 am in the Gardner Earl Memorial Chapel located in the Oakwood Cemetery in Troy. The internment will be in the family plot in Oakwood. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Community Hospice of Rensselaer County, 295 Valley View Blvd, Rensselaer, NY 12144.
