Dearest Patricia, soon it will be one year since your dear Mother Jane was received into our Lords eternal kingdom, where she is honored for being such an amazing mortal soul. Her achievements on Earth led her directly to a mansion in that kingdom with your dear Father Jim, to only joy, happiness, and peace. She is, and always will, be in your heart, and yes, she comes by frequently to protect you and and love you. God Bless you, Peter, and all Meharg family.

This day, Easter Sunday is the first for the people who love you to not have you with them in person, but your dear spirits will be present and that in itself is of great comfort. This is you Jane, and Jim's first Easter feast with the ultimate creator, our Lord Jesus Christ, as I'm sure he is welcoming you with open arms. My love to Patty and Peter and Meharg family and friends.

Your Mom was a dear friend and special person in my Mom's (Grace Harrigan Gavin) life. We lost both Mom & Dad within 2 months of each other. Although it was so difficult at the time, knowing they were together again so soon brought a sense of comfort as time went on. When I saw your Mom's notice, I pictured how happy my Mom would be to see her again. My thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family.

Patty, Jane is your guardian angel. She is with you when you are least aware, and there when you ask her to be. It's hard to understand, but you have to believe. And having known you for so many years, I know you believe. Right now, she is enjoying her family reunion, but she will be there in that wisp of air, always...Much Love

Mom, I miss you more every day. You were such a wonderful mom, and our hearts will never be separated. I know you are flying, and free of worry and pain. Once in a while mom, when you fly by, please let me feel the sweet wisp of breeze on my cheek as you soar past. Love treash

To the Meharg Family -
I was a student at Troy High School (Class of 1986) and had the good fortune of having your beautiful, kind, caring mother as my Guidance Counselor. She helped me find my first job (during my Junior year) and I stayed with it through college. I attended her retirement party in 1993, while I was substitute teaching at that time in the Troy School District. She was someone I looked up to and thought of as a role model. She cared so much for people and for her students and she showed it whenever she smiled, which was often. Your mother was beautiful inside and out. It makes me sad to know that she is gone from this earth but happy to know that she is reunited with loved ones on the other side. Please know how much of an impact your mother had on so many. She was a treasure.

My dear Patty, my heart is broken as I learned of your Mother, a true angel and great gift to anyone whom knew her, has gone to a much more peaceful and beautiful place. It was a true honor to have known your Mother, as she was the epitome of a remarkable wife to your Father Jim, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother. She had a smile that lit up the world. May you and your family find peace during this saddest of times. May God be with each and every one of you. She will remain in our hearts and memories forever.

Jim, Michael, John, Patricia and Kitty, please accept my sincerest sympathy in the passing of your wonderful wife and mom, of whom I have only the fondest memories while growing up in Troy and spending vacations in Maine. My mother, Emily, considered Jane one of her best, lifelong soul mates, having met each other while both in a play at St. Augustine's in 1938. She will be missed sorely. I am so glad she got to come to the wake. My best wishes to Jim and to you all in the coming days.

We are so sorry to hear of Jane's passing. Although we didn't see your family often, every time we'd get together it was like being with family. Jane always welcomed us and made us feel at home. Thank you for helping her keep in touch with Mom during these last months. I know it meant so much to both of them as it was a special lifelong friendship.
You are all in our prayers.
