Dearest Sally and Family,
My deepest sympathy goes out to you and all the family. John and yourself were there for me when I was young and seeking a positive influence within my life. I sent my love to his boys, and stepchildren, and pray this period will be full of great memories to share with their love ones. Sorry I was not there, but Florida is a very long distance and money slim.

God bless,
Jeffrey Pluff

My deepest sympathy goes out to John's wife and family. Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to know John growing up. I ran into him in a pharmacy and he asked me if I was a Powers - I am. He asked who my Dad was and immediately he said "Uncle George" and he shared the grestest fishing stories about my Dad bringing him fishing as a young boy and teaching him the techniques. After reconnecting he visited with my Dad several times while my Dad was in the mist of dealing with dementia and shared wonderful memories and times. It was always a pleasure to be in his company. I know my Dad and cousin John will now continue their stories together.
