Dave, Jackie , all the family.. So sorry for this tragic loss to your son Josh.. Davey i remember on 2nd shift back when Josh was a little tyke how we used to share our experiences with our young family..how we hated being at work at night and missing out on dinner and being home when it was their bed times.
we had a lot of giggles in those old days talking about the kids, and what horses to play the next day ..Love you guys ..PTL, Michael...

Dear Jackie and the entire Shaw family,
I am so sorry for your incredible loss. I will never understand why things like this happen to such great people. We have never had a conversation where you didn't mention your husband,sons or Mom- it is well known how much they are all treasured and loved. I always enjoyed our conversations, but not today- I am at a loss for words. I wish as a friend I could change all this for you and take away the pain. We at the Albany county jail maintenance dept are truly sorry. We knew Josh threw Dotts he was always a pleasure to talk too. You could tell Josh was brought up the right way. We will all miss him. Again we are very sorry.

I have known Josh for quite some time, and in the years of knowing him, the stories I could tell you, are ones I will never forget. We had so many great laughs at the house in the garage. One I will never forget was the night of the pool incident, we must have laughed about that memory for weeks on end! I will miss you, Fly high brother. I can vividly remember meeting Josh for the first time when Jackie carried him in her arms into my Mom's house. I don't think I had ever seen her so happy. Josh was so wide eyed taking in all the activity around him. I never really got to know him but I do see how much Jackie and Dave love and nurture all their boys. Parents second to none. My sad heart goes out to all of you. Uncle Johnny has him now. Together they will look down and watch over you all. All my love, Vinny
