Mary N. Daigneault COHOES - Mary N. Daigneault, 85, formerly of Williams Street of Cohoes, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at the Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Troy embraced by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Louise Gregoire Potvin and the beloved wife of the late Henry H. Daigneault, Sr. Mary was educated in Cohoes, and was a member of the Mother’s Club at St. Patrick’s School when her children were young. She was also a member of the Cohoes Senior Citizens. Mary loved cats, and enjoyed Bingo and Bowling. She also enjoyed her vegetable and flower gardens. Mary was a communicant of Church of the Holy Trinity. She is survived by her loving children, Edward A. Daigneault of Cohoes, and Henry H. Daigneault, Jr., of Schenectady. Mary is also survived by her grandchildren Alexa, Andrew, Jason, and Steven Daigneault and by her daughter-in-laws Deborah Daigneault and Cheryl Daigneault. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her twin sister Margaret D. Langdoc. Funeral from the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ltd., 105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes, Friday, February 12, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 12, at 9 a.m. at Church of Holy Trinity, Cohoes. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. To the Daigneault family, my most sincere condolences. Her sister will be waiting with open arms,I'm sure. Maybe there are "Garage Sales" up above? R.I.P Mary.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. I am so sorry for your loss. Today your family and friends lay you to rest. Today your family and friends celebrate the life you had with them on earth. No one is saying Goodbye they are saying Till we meet again because we will meet again make the path smooth for those to join you in their time make your presence known to your family and loved ones through the years....hold their hand and guide them. Your a treasured soul. Rest peaceful, fly easy on your angel wings. Be by your family/ friends while they mourn your passing, but give them a sense of peace that you are in a beautiful place, with no pain, no tears, no anger. Forever you will be missed. But always in our hearts.

Mary will always be remembered for her sense of humor and kind spirit. We had many good times at bingo traveling near an far. A true friend to my Mom and myself. Mary will be truly missed.
