Robert E. Moreau Jr.

WATERVLIET, ALBANY COUNTY- Robert E. Moreau, Jr. of Vermont View Way passed away at home on Monday, May 17, 2021. He was 61. Born on March 30, 1960 in Troy, he is the son of the late Robert E. and Mary (Cantanucci) Moreau, Sr. Robert worked as a machinist for Gerome Technologies in Menands. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing with Jeff Dooley and recreating battle and war scenes with detailed dioramas. Survivors include his sons, Robert (Gabby) Moreau, III and their daughter Paisley of Mechanicville, Shane Moreau (Aubrey Moore) and their daughter Lily Moon of Ballston Lake, their mother, Lynda Moreau of Malta, his sister Robin (Walter) Moreau-Burr and their sons Brian and Tyler of Providence, RI. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a sister, Denise Moreau. Relatives and friends may call from 1-3:00pm on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 319 Park Avenue, Mechanicville. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 in the funeral home.
