Alyce Victoria Benoit

Alyce Victoria Benoit Beloved daughter, sister, mother and grandmother, passed from this life on September 7, 2011. She was born on May 24, 1946 in Durango, Colorado, the only child of William Hamblin Mangum and Martha Lewis Mangum. Alyce grew up in Monte Vista, Colorado and Prescott, Arizona and attended high school in Prescott. She attended Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado and University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. In 1965 she married Earl Heath Billick II, and they became parents to Earl Heath III and Leelanee Shay Victoria. The family lived in Tucson for a number of years as the children grew up until the marriage ended. Later Alyce married Richard Le Blanc and they had one child, Vincent Michael. When that marriage ended she was married to Ronald Benoit of New York State, who became father to Vincent until Ron passed away in 2005. Alyce is survived by her son, Earl III (Deb); daughter, Leelannee; son, Vincent; granddaughters, Kylie and Kelsey Wagner and Alyza Victoria Le Blanc; sister, Tonia Reardon (Brad); mother, Martha Wendt and former husband, Earl Billick II. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Benoit; her father, William Mangum; her brother, George Vincent Wendt and stepfather, George Everett Wendt. Alyce was a beautiful person and talented artist with an infectious laugh who loved animals and growing things. We all miss her very much. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY.
