Mrs. Munguia was an incredible woman. MANY students from the 1981 graduating class thought of her as a second "mom". She always had a kind thought, a wonderful laugh, and a way to "make everything ok". Her house was always open, regardless of the number of people Debbie brought home. From helping with homecoming floats to baking 3 dozen cupcakes for a bake sale, Mrs. Munguia always came through. She was an AWESOME lady, a GREAT mother and a true FRIEND to all.
We will greatly miss her but are so thankful to have had her in our lives.

Indeed Barbara was the most kind, loving and generous woman, and often we, as teenagers would laughingly chide her because she would never have an unkind word to say...when others were gossiping... just smiled and said nothing or something kind. As young mothers, Barb offered her home for visits with me and my child when we were in need of comforting. One remembers with love our happy childhood visits and games, and later, the sweetness of her smile and her devotion to her family.
