Sharon, Dick and family, I received an email this morning from son Eric whose work assignment has him in St. Louis this week. He'd seen Barry's obituary in a newspaper. On behalf of my children, especially my three boys who played in the neighborhood with Jay, and on behalf of my siblings who lived across the street from Sharon when we were small, I want to express our deep sympathies in the loss of this great person. I was surprised, when I accepted a job at PaineWebber, to find Barry's office down the hall! Such fun to watch then-little Nick as a toddler, who would come to visit his dad at work. Will pray for God's peace and love to fill your hearts during this difficult time!

Barry started in the Financial Services Industry on my watch. I have always appreciated his enthusiasm, it was contagious. He was always excited about what he was doing; a good investment idea, competitive biking, a great golf game, public speaking or selling cars.
