It took me this long to write because you were and always be my best friend. You took a big piece of my heart with you. I think about you all the time and smile remembering the good times we had. I met you when I was 13 and you rode your bike to my moms house to bring me an AC/DC eight track you bought at the swap meet. You would pick me up to go to school and make Kristy and I push the blue truck when we ran out of gas. You came to my wedding and caught the Bouquet, visited me when my children were born in the hospital and held my hand when my first daughter Samantha passed away. You let me sleep at your house when I got divorced and stood up at my mothers funeral to speak and made us all laugh at a time when I thought my family would never laugh again. There are so many memories that I have and very few without you in them. You always believed that I would do great things and were so proud when I became a certified nursing assistant. I miss you my brother, my best friend

Basil was one of a kind. What can I say, he always seemed to be there when I needed him. The times we shared will never be forgotten.Hes up there with his best friend (Chris Mason) and others that we lost this year. You are now another angel.. that was taken to soon. My heart is broken. Basil is such a big part of my life. He believed in me even when I gave up on myself and helped me be the person I am today. He was always there for me and everybody else to lend a helping hand and make us smile/laugh. My heart,thoughts,and prayers are with the Brown family. I am unable to get off work and have permanently moved to Beverly Massachusetts so I will be unable to attend the services.
