Billy Williams Obituary

Bill rolled out of this world to join his Lord, leaving behind his loving wife of 56 years, Irene (O'Brien) Williams. He also leaves daughters Rebecca Ann (Joe) Harris and Patricia Lynn (Andy) Brutlag and the grandchildren he so loved – Abigail and Samuel Harris and Alexandra and Keaton Brutlag. Predeceased by son Brian Michael, father Lester L. Williams, mother Ruth (Krenz) Williams and brothers Dale, Lyle and Tom.

Survived by brothers Ted (Suzanne), Gary (Pue), and sister Arletta (Bob) Haecker, sister-in-law Lynette, as well as several nieces and nephews. Born in Baker, but raised in Butte, Montana, Bill graduated from Montana Tech with a B.S. in Mining Engineering. Paralyzed in a fall underground in 1970, he returned to work, retiring from Asarco as Chief Engineer in 2000. A man of strong faith and generous heart, he believed that you should treat everyone as you would want to be treated. He loved Montana history, everything mining and was extremely proud of his mineral collection. His book, "Playing in a Big Boy's Sandbox", was published in 2018. Services will be at Most Holy Trinity Parish at 10 a.m., 1300 N Greasewood.

In lieu of flowers please send memorials to Habitat for Humanity or Community Food Bank.
